neuronest OT approach
At NeuroNest Occupational Therapy, support is grounded in respect for neurodivergent ways of being. The focus is on affirming identity, centring autonomy, and valuing each person’s needs, rhythms and lived experience. Together, we explore what feels supportive and meaningful for you, outside of ableist and neuronormative expectations.
This is a space where all of you is welcomed. My practice aims to be guided by queer affirming, trauma informed, and disability justice values. An intersectional lens shapes my work, alongside a commitment to unlearning dominant systems, relearning in community, and valuing interdependence and community over individualism.
Therapy in this space strives to be relational, transparent and consent based. Feedback and ongoing dialogue are welcomed, and trust is built through collaboration and flexibility.
