Hi, I’m Martha (she/her),

I am an occupational therapist and the founder of NeuroNest Occupational Therapy.

Since graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy, I’ve had the privilege of supporting neurodivergent individuals from early childhood through to adulthood, mostly within the NDIS sphere. I have a particular interest in working with folks navigating intersectional experiences such as late diagnosis, PDA, chronic illness and queer identity. Alongside my clinical experience, I bring lived experience as a multiply disabled AUDHD’er.

I see you as the expert on your own life, and I aim to meet you there. I enjoy working collaboratively and creatively, and adapting therapy to meet individual needs. Whether that’s finding safe community spaces, brainstorming sensory strategies or sitting together in co-regulation, I enjoy finding ways to make therapy more accessible and affirming for you.

My therapeutic style is warm, authentic and validating, grounded in deep respect for autonomy and self-determination. I welcome all the stimming, authenticity and pet cameos into sessions. I truly see the opportunity to work alongside other neurodivergent folks as an immense privilege. I learn every day from the people I support, from my own lived experience, and from the collective wisdom of neurodivergent, disabled, queer and other marginalised communities.
